1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Paytrove ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. You must have authority to bind the business you're registering on behalf of.
2. Description of Service
Paytrove connects to your business bank accounts to detect recurring payment obligations — loans, rent, utilities, vendor payments — and, with your confirmation, reports them to commercial credit bureaus as trade lines. Reporting existing payments doesn't automatically raise your credit score or guarantee loan approval; no service can promise that honestly.
3. Eligibility
You must be a business operating in the United States with authority to link its bank accounts and act on its behalf. The Service is not available to individuals seeking to build personal consumer credit.
4. Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Linked Accounts and Detection
You authorize us to access your linked bank account's transaction history, through our data provider Plaid, solely to detect recurring payment patterns. Detection is automated and may be incomplete or imperfect — it's a starting point for your review, not a final determination.
6. Reporting to Credit Bureaus
Nothing is reported to any credit bureau without your explicit confirmation of each individual obligation. You're responsible for confirming only obligations you believe to be accurate. Once confirmed and reported, correcting inaccurate information may require formal dispute processes with the relevant bureau.
7. Subscription and Fees
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are presented at signup and on your account's billing page. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any specific credit score outcome, loan approval, or bureau acceptance of reported data. We are not a credit bureau, a lender, or a financial or legal advisor, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, credit, or legal advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paytrove is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including decisions made based on detected or reported data.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the Service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Paytrove operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
